Three articles by Laura Salmon on Dostoevsky. An introductory note
This is a translator's introductory note, thematic and traductological, to the three articles by Laura Salmon reproduced below in translation from Italian into Russian. Laura Salmon is a well-known Italian specialist in Russian studies, linguistics and translation studies, whose works on Dostoevsky have, for the most part, only been available in her native language until now. Salmon, who is also the translator of some of Dostoevsky's novels into Italian, closely links her interpretation of the text with her practice as a translator in her analyses. This, together with her unusual background, has led to a highly original and innovative method of analysis.
